Along with a carefully selected team of professionals, Gamini established the Corporate Human Resources division at RMAL Hospitality as part of the opening team of the company.
His team is responsible for no fewer than eight facets under the HR banner, which include: Recruitment; Compensations and Benefits; Performance Management; Personal and Professional Training with Employee Welfare and Housing; Operation Support for outlets; and Pre-opening Support for new hotel projects.
A career hotelier, Gamini's extensive experience spans 30 years, and ranges from Housekeeping to HR where he has been involved in property openings, refurbishments as well as operations. Gamini has previously worked with Intercontinental Hotels Group in the UAE and Qatar, where he played an essential role in supporting the assessment and development of hotel staff. He completed an MBA in Business Administration in early 2009.
